Beautiful performances & exquisite cinematography. The story's themes of family, separation, immigration, racism, identity, hope and isolation were raw & real.

It's kinda good in the first half, shows the identity recognition of both Asian American and adopted people. The last half is becoming more and more dramatic, making the end a tear-jerker finale. It's kinda plain of the characters of the two white policemen.

Dramatic take on the injustice of archaic rules around citizenship in the USA. A real tearjerker.

It’s just as much a story about struggle as it is perseverance. I think anyone can watch this and find something in it that will resonate with them. Whether it be trying to figure out their own identity, moments of truth and how we face them or relationships that we cherish pushing us away rather than closer because of what we think it should be versus what it actually is - theirs just a lot to unpack with this. \r\rFull Review on Instagram @mrhungryalways\r\rAppreciate you having me! Hope you get an Oscar out of this!
