It was a good movie, but the original was better

As a fan of the old film and the book, this movie just recreates the story. Nothing unpredictable or extremely horrifying. It was not very memorable and it had an unsatisfactory ending.

I liked it for the most part, but was disappointed by the ending.

Original was better and the film dragged for the majority of the duration. Jump scares and limited gore. I'm disappointed.
