Risen is a good film, but, there was something deeper lacking within it to make you 'feel' it. I did enjoy the acting of Tom Felton and Joseph Finnes a lot. The costumes and the set as well as the locations were beautiful. I'm not sure if it was the style of how the frames were shot or how rapid it went from scene to scene, but, something felt slightly off. Oh, and the woman who played Mary Magdalene, she was fantastic. I didn't like how they overdid the "lady of the night" of her though.

It was not what I expected. To me it was a reflection of a memory.

While obviously not biblical accurate it was very good about subtly presenting the message. It was a good movie and would recommend it to my friends.

Enjoyed the scenery and presentation. Implies a terribly barren area of the Middle East. Not too enthusiastic about the ending.
