Enjoyed the movie!

Greenland was very intense and it times hard to watch. It hit close to home considering the turmoil and anxiety that COVID-19 has caused. The special effects were outstanding. I can only imagine how it would feel to watch this type of film in a theater with surround sound. I imagine it would have had me on the edge of my seat. The writers did an excellent job with the screenplay building the characters and showing how people were barely holding it together. It was gut wrenching. It is a very emotional and intense action-adventure film. are used to love these type of disaster movies. I actually enjoyed them because I never thought we would live in a world where chaos and anxiety would be a norm. Movies with catastrophic scenes used to just be fun and entertaining,. Living through 2020 and not knowing if 2021 will be better or worse it makes you stop and think. I am thankful for everything I have and for how precious life is. I did not know the synopsis for the movie prior to the screening and therefore was caught off guard by how it would affect me emotionally. Overall, I thought it was very well done and would have driven moviegoers off their couches into the theaters if it had open in cinemas. I will tell my friends and family about the film and encourage them to watch it.

Edge of your seat thrill ride Nevermind the bad reviews you hear. Go and see this movie for what it is...pure entertainment. Did like the sort of realism of the military that has to follow orders. The bravery of the kid (no spoiler), the FEMA workers and all front line workers. Highly recommend giving this movie a chance.
