Poor portrayal of the strength of the American people and our GOD

It is an foreseeable action movie, video game style. Special effects are very good and the movie is enterntaining. My 15 years old boy liked it (again it could be the setting of one of his video games.)

this movie will be much better when they use it for a video game background. lots of action, some of your favorite actors from other shows to keep you mildly entertained but really not much entertainment value as it gets tiresome after 2 hours and 20 minutes

This film is a predictable series of cliches from other invading-alien horror movies, as well as some time travel tropes. Lots of it was implausible, such as the practice of sending untrained humans into the future to fight aliens. The reasons behind some plot points were never explained. The main character, played by Chris Pratt seems stoic at practically all times, but there isn't much acting for him to do, and we never understand a lot of things, such as why he abandoned his fanily in the "old" future that will be replaced by the "new" future engendered by changes in the nature of history.
