It was a good illustration of the mans life. It did a good job of iliciting an emotional response. The interview scenes at the beginning and end cheapened the movie; the acting was particularly bad in these scenes and they didn't Enhance the story line. It was good; not great. If I chose to pay to see the move I would have waited until it went to the dollar cinema.

Finn Wittrock is ridiculously amazing. This guy got my attention with last season's American Horror Story, in which he was outright phenomenal. I recognized him from the show when I saw Unbroken and honestly he is the only reason I wanted to see My All American. He did not disappoint.

The film was heartwarming in a Disney movie type of way. It was very textbook though for films of this nature. It's worth seeing if you run out of other movies to see. I would say that Aaron Eckhart is the ONLY actor in this film that could actually act though.

Predictable story well told. Bryan's song, Rudy, and so many others have tred this road. This version had likable actors in likable roles. But sappy and overly tender scenes make it a little tiresome.
