Very well done. I was a bit concerned it was going to be very anti-war and condemning of the American involvement in WWII but it wasn't . It was a great story and very well done. The story is very well laid out and Andrew Garfield does a great job of bring this Medal of Honor hero's story to life. I recommend seeing this for both the historical reliance and the great story it is.

Great battle scenes with realistic gore effects. The transition between the first and second flashback scene was disorientating. It took me a while to figure out it was going fifteen years forward instead of backwards because Desmond's mom has a line that leads into the flash forward talking about when she first meet her husband. I think these flashback scenes could have been edited significantly.

I thought it flowed well, it didn't seem like it was 2hrs. Action and actors were good.

Although the wartime violence is graphic, it is a truly amazing story of heroism and convictions.
