Not what I wanted to see after 2020.

The aliens look like a sad version of a demigorgon superimposed onto Mewtwo that hasn't finished rendering. The Amazon Studios watermark is poorly placed and moves around at severely odd and obnoxious intervals, although I did not deduct stars for that. Chris Pratt has so much more range than this project allows for, that it makes his role and performance very flat. There isn't a single role in the film that couldn't be played by almost any competent actor. Executive producer: Chris Pratt??? OHHHHHH

So....This movie has some major problems. The movie has some very unprofessional shots during the sequence where they journey to a lab to retrieve research, and during several alien fight sequences. This movie also has several script problems. While Dan is perfectly likable, I wouldn't say many other characters are, and their comedy wanted me to blow out my eardrums so I didn't have to hear their mediocre jokes. Now this film has some interesting plot, characters, and lore ideas, but it never follows up on any of them. Some shots are cool but ultimately the film falls flat.

Not great, but entertaining!
