I thought the movie was funny and relatable. It showed many familiar family dynamics. I laughed out loud which I rarely do at movies. I thought Will Ferrell did a great job of showing the different sides of a multi-faceted character. His characters can sometimes be over the top slapstick, but this character also had some subtle nuances. My one complaint would be the movie had too much gratuitous swearing. Overall, I enjoyed the movie very much, I would watch it again, and I would recommend it to others.
