Not sure what the subplot was about. could've done without it. There was no one I was really rooting for. Nearly all of the characters are bad guys

Typical weird Coen Brothers movie that makes you think a little.

Movie started slow, but then the gore was unexpected.

A mixed bag with some very effective scenes and others that are awkward. The plots and themes don't really come together.
