Infuriating (which is the feeling Bigelow and Boal intended for me to have)

The film really puts racism and civil rights into perspective. Out of my many History courses in High School and College I never learned about the events that went on in Detroit. The film is very well done and the actors they chose couldn't have been better. If you know about the events in Detroit, a history buff, or even want a thought provoking and emotional movie; Detroit does not disappoint.

Phenomenal movie with a powerful cast. The movie flows with an elegant and sophisticated complexity. Well worth seeing on a big screen.

THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. IT KEPT MY ATTENTION ALL THE WAY TO THE END. IT WAS A BIT HEAVY AT TIMES MAKING ME WANT TO JUMP INTO THE SCREEN AND SLAP THOSE COPS BUT IT WAS GOOD. i TOOK MY 13 YR OLD SON AND HE ALSO ENJOYED IT. THERE WERE A FEW BAD WORDS BUT IT WAS JUSTIFIED SO I DIDNT WORRY ABOUT MY SON TOO MUCH. EVEN THOUGH THE EVENTS IN THE FILM HAPPENED YEARS AGO IT IS SO RELEVANT FOR TODAY .
