The movie was very different and probably not as scary I we would of thought, but we enjoyed it very much and it had a "lets see" ending.

Bye Bye Man was kind of silly (overly silly) but still mildly entertaining with a few suspenseful scenes. The genre has been beaten to the ground, and this type of movie has been done many times before, but we still enjoy the genre. Thank you!

Very cheesy and not scary but, I do like they used a college from my state.

I most likely would have rated this film higher, if not for several major consistency problems in the film and the overall campy feel that only seemed to get deeper as thee film went along, which gave the audience more laugh out loud moments than thrills an chills. The issue of time stamping was another big problem running throughout; mostly because there was a time stamp for the first scene but not another when we moved forward. I read that the film is supposed to be mostly in early 1990's and yet the cars( no college kids were driving big black SUVs in the 1990's not even the rich ones) and in several scenes they were shown using cell phones with swipe screens, another thing that hadn't even been invented in the early 1990s. So throughout the film i kept asking myself what time period they were supposed to be in, almost to the point of distraction. Considering how chilling The Bridge to Body island was as a simple short story, I think the writer and film maker could have done a far better job of injecting real scares and better story points to the production. But since one of the other projects done by Stacy Title; namely The Last Supper is a campy dark humor film, it may have been what sh was going for with The Bye Bye Man as well.
