I have never played Dungeons and Dragons, so I thought I might have a lot of moments where I wouldn’t understand the film. That was not the case. I’m sure there were a lot of extra things I wouldn’t get by not knowing the game, however my watching experience was not affected in any way. The movie was full of adventure and humor. I definitely recommend this film!

The movie had a lot of elements about DnD, and it made me wish, I was doing the same stuff in my own campaign. The only thing I did not care for, was that It felt like a mystical, magical movie, so if you expect only DnD stuff, you might be disappointed. But this was a spectacular movie, with good morals and lessons to be learned
