I thought this movie was great! Hard truths mixed with witty comedy. Main actors were so convincing in their roles. Steve Carell was phenomenal!

Great movie. I am a real estate agent for 40 years and this movie is everything that happened during the down fall of the real estate industry. It was well done in explaining to the highs and lows in owning real estate if not fully aware of your loan and what it entails with interest rates, etc. It loudly speaks out, once the real estate bubble starts to go bad, it will continue with a snow effect

The Big Short is not a movie for everyone but it is an excellent ride. The acting and directing were on point. The beautiful actors are portrayed as rather average Joes and are barely recognizable. The topic is serious and raises some important questions about regulating the banks and financial institutions in this country. It also pokes fun of the various quirks of the main characters
