Didn’t show who the boss was and super abrupt ending. Had no idea junior was behind it until the very end. Also a lot of classic characters missing (hesh, aprilles, etc.)

Many thanks for the invitation to attend the screening; it was greatly appreciated. Soprano's creator David Chase and director, Alan Taylor, tried to cram too many details and stories, riveting as they were, into a 2-hour movie format. In the process, too many scenes were stopped short and not allowed to develop. A 6- hour episode format on HBO would have done justice to the scope of the script.

Felt dis-jointed with a lack of an overall plot or resolution

If you are a Sopranos television series fan then I think you will get more out of this movie rather than a person who is not familiar with the franchise. The casting was good but the story did not have much direction, there wasn’t much of a story arc. I still enjoyed the film as a Soorano’s fan.
