very engaging w/ story & characters.Read book; liked the way the movie was done with respect to the book. Took a friend who did not read book & she loved the Goldfinch! Proportionally, felt like 1) begin movie time Theo spent with the Barbours was a little than the book time & 2) the drug use seemed to be a lot of the last 2/3 of the movie...though this did not impact my liking of the movie.
