The plot seemed to have lots of holes and illogical story points. Why is he so hesitant to go back to the present - if he mass produces the poision he is in fact saving his daughter?!?

I found it to be a bit too long. There was a moment when I looked to see how much time was left in the film, and there were 51 minutes, and it felt like a long 51 minutes. I also had a hard time buying the idea that he would leave his wife and daughter. I get that he didn't appreciate his job and felt like he wasn't making a difference, but he was a good teacher and a good father. He was also a good soldier who cared for others. The idea that he would leave his wife and child felt forced. Overall, I found it all a bit unbelievable.

Meh. Cheesy, bloated (except for Pratt, always in fine shape), and generally illogical. In other words, rights at home on Amazon.
