Solid action movie. Could have been better if more time was spent developing the relationship between Lara and her father. Vogel had the potential to be a very compelling villain, but he was not give enough screen time to develop the character. As a fan of the video game series, I did appreciate the attempt to stay true to the game, but I would have liked more puzzles, exploring, and traps.

Fun to watch, not much depth.

It was too formulaic. There were a lot of movie tropes that were prominent. First, the villain, why was he the villain, what was in it for him? The goons also, what was their motivation to help the main villain? Also, clothing. No. Matter what they went through, the clothes were never tattered ripped or soiled. Just dusty. The story had too many holes. I loved the action when it wasn't cartoonist

Great movie, lots of action. Definitely opens up the stories for a series of follow up films.
