I would only recommend it; if it came up in conversation. I world recommend the original Hotel Transylvania over this one. It was cute ok but not my favorite of this series. I still appreciated the animation and talent. Thank you.

As someone who is familiar with Gennedy Tartakovsky and the previous films, they’re average family films at best around the Halloween time. This sequel is no exception. While it continued its style over substance, it retained its sweet core on what made the franchise successful to begin with. There’s some fun in the premise, over-the-top yet colorful animation, hit-and-miss gags, and decent voice acting, especially with Brian Hull doing a spot-on impression as Sandler’s Dracula. With Sony having a difficult time releasing as the grand finale, it’s highly recommended for families and fans.
