This is a musical, first and foremost, so know what you are getting into. The music, lyrics, the cinematography is bright and vivid. The choreography and musical pacing is on point! The one criticism is not on the movie but the advertising. The trailer makes it sound like it will be based around DREAM Act, but that is a verrrry small part. It's about the Latino experience in NY/USA!

Energetic, fun, amazing

The storyline is very relevant and encompasses many ongoing concerns of everyday people with a focus on Latino/Latina immigrants. I really enjoyed the music, singing and choreography. More of this genre of movie are needed especially with all that is going on in the world today. So uplifting!

I loved the connections that the characters had with each other, young and old, immigrant and first generation, parent and child, legal and illegal. The music, singing and acting were superb. I'm so glad the producers waited to showcase this movie in the theater. I loved it, and will see it again. This time I'll gladly pay for it. What a "welcome back to the theater" great movie. LOVE IT! \r
