Although fantastically visually, and a whole lot of fun, the movie lacks a lot character drama and when it does attempt to ground itself in drama, it often comes off as cheesy or forced, especially the romance aspect. But Spielberg makes this a fun, entertaining spectacle which was glorious to watch.

Not terrible. Some scenes were too busy, movie worked better when it slowed down to focus on the characters

Very good action film but there were parts of the book that I wanted to see live. Especially the Joust scene. Very disappointed that RUSH songs were not included in the film as they were such a big part of the book.I think general audience will love but big fans of the book will be disappointed.
