"Land" was able to capture the deep sense of loss and grief experienced when we lose that which we deem most important/essential. The pain and existential disorientation of this loss leads us back to the only place that can ground us again, and she innately knows that. To the outside world, it may appear that she is slowly committing suicide, but in reality, she is desperately trying to save herself. Sometimes that desire to live is not enough, and we actually do need the help of others to succeed. Her life was saved when she was able to open to the human help that crossed her remote path.

Enjoyed it very much. A bit slow at times, but well worth it.

The scenery was beautiful and filmed in a lovely way. It brought more emotion out of me then the story. Acting was good, not great.
