This movie shows true raw emotions of life struggles for some. It sadly shows the reality of some children's lives. This movie is wonderfully put together to bring the real life experiences from the memoir to show the true life of Jeanette Walls.

Loved the story. It had great comic relief and also heavy themes of family. I though the character development was through and I understood the central theme. I will rent it when it comes out on DVD.
