The movie was kind of a disappointment for me it certainly wasn't as good as the last one.

I think it shifts the tone from the first movie pretty dramatically. It becomes an action movie with very little heart and a convoluted plot. There were comedic parts but I don’t believe they save the movie.

Thankfully, I won tickets for this.\r\rThey went full goofy with this one, more than the original film. There's a variety of sight gags or lines that I can appreciate but few drew a smile on my face. \r\rI know the techno twists at the heart of the confrontation are made to be silly but even then, I didn't really care about the reveal and the explanation.\r\rObviously, your mileage may vary.

Not really surprising that this takes the TERMINATOR 2 route and discards all the horror elements, turning MΞGAN into an anti-hero in the process (they even redo the "no human casualties" bit); more surprising is just how messy and scattershot this feels, considering how slam-dunk the premise should be.
