Really sort of a missed opportunity was hoping that the film would concentrate on the characters from the show. You certainly get a little of that but the whole film should have been that way and left out the ridiculous subplot.

I think it left a lot out of the tone soprano time line and if you did not watch the sopranos you would be lost.

A wonderful installment in the franchise, but there were too many characters and too much time to cover in a 2 hour movie. It could have easily made for a full season on HBO to flush out the other characters besides Dickie, especially Johnny and junior.

It wouldn’t be a top 15 episode of The Sopranos, but it has actual ideas and I had a good time seeing my (violent, backwards) friends again.
