Good acting and credible. I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the book very much, and the movie is true to it. I wonder if some of the details may be hard to get fully, if you haven't read the book--lots of quick flashes. Witherspoon and Dern were great. I was in a writing workshop with Cheryl Strayed a year ago July and hold her in high and fond regard. Btw, I wore my red REI Danner shoelaces in my hiking boots to the screening.
