I thought this was going to be one of those “eat your vegetables” movies that critics love and audiences don’t appreciate. I was so wrong. I was incredibly moved by the story and the performances. I think I was weeping for most of the movie - happy and sad tears. “Women Talking” stood out this year amongst all the bloated, 3-hr long movies about nothing in particular. I loved it.

This is a gripping and thought-provoking film. It is for mature audiences. One of the best films I have seen in a long time.

What a powerful movie! Although the movie is specific to one community, it’s really a parallel to our current society in so many ways. So many messages. I hope everyone sees it.
