We did not know that a true story inspired the writing of Moby-Dick. This film brought history to life for us, and revealed the challenges that the men on the whaler ships had to endure, along with their families, whether they lived or died. We were impressed by the cinematography of the film, but disappointed with the inclusion of offensive language that was not highlighted in the Rating.

It was good! Fantastic story telling, easy to follow. Amazing 3-D effects, one of the best I've ever seen. Great performances by all the actors. Scary, thrilling, sad, and sometimes funny, all at the same time. This movie is a must see!
