Subtle, thoughtful, insightful film that makes you think deeper about the plight or asylum seekers.

It was a moving movie that inspires you to be grateful for your blessings. the refugee life is a hard life. i was glad though that at the end, Omar found joy in playing his oud again. He could feel he was making his dad proud and his brother smile. (his mother too i guess) \r\r\rThe pakistani with the chicken was funny, The Africans' argument over the significance of the break in Friends was hilarious. It was a dramatic difference between Friends sitcom and real life as refugees seeking asylum. BUt I liked the way they integrated the Friends' DVDs into daily life for the refugees.
