What an amazing story. The cast, the cinematography and picture editing were all so good. Tahar Rahim performance is beyond one's imagination and portrays this character so well, along with all the other cast. What happened there was appalling and so unfortunate for Slahi’s to have spent years of his life with no proof at all. As a veteran who served, it's very disheartening to know that these military soldiers that were assigned there could in good conscience be part of this kind of abuse. A story well told in every aspect.

It's a very gripping story that I've never heard before. It keeps you completely engaged because you're trying to figure out what's true and how certain things could possibly not be true. You're wondering the whole time if he is innocent and even still after he wins his case, you are left unsatisfied with the results. You're left wondering if justice was served or if they got it wrong once again.
