I thought it was excellent and very moving. The actor who played Walid was a special treat and Paul Bettany was wonderful. As was the lead actress. Thank you for showing the family accepting Frank and Walid. Acceptance can happen. :)

I loved Uncle Frank, it reminded me of the relationship I had with my own father. Franks trails were similar to what I went through as a young adult. Looking for acceptance from your father and never receiving it hurts. This movie was well done, and true to life. I’d watch it again.

Good content! The film captured the consequences of words and how some individuals try to hurt others simply because they are perceived as different or foreign. Gender identity, race, religion, and cultural differences are just a few areas in which society tries to draw artificial boundaries to unnecessarily separate people.
