The movie was hilarious but also a great story line. It showed that you have to be assertive, stick to your first mind and go after your dreams. Inspiring, as I am a woman of color and struggle with some of the same issues. Great movie!

This film was surprisingly hilarious and witty. From beginning to end, I was historically laughing at the funny one liners provided by Emma Thompson and the rest of the cast. I loved Mindy Kaling and the uniqueness she brought to the screen. Overall, I would suggest this film to any of my friends.

I loved it! It appeals to both men and women (I went with my boyfriend and he enjoyed it as well). I’m not sure I loved the ending of the movie where Mindy ends up dating her friend - I think it could have ended great if the movie ended with them just being friends (since she notes not having any friends previously in the movie). And rather than sending the message that it’s a happy ending because she got a guy, it would send the message that it’s a happy ending because she’s finally successful and happy where she is in life with friends and an awesome career

So well written and superb acting by ALL!!! Plus, loved how it includes themes prevalent in current life. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this film.
