I personally enjoyed the film. I think the movie is at it’s best when it’s having fun and not taking itself seriously. Pokémon fans will especially love this movie trying to spot every Pokémon they can in a scene. I also think that the humor will go over very well with kids.

Great for family time. Very family friendly.

Helps to know the Pokémon world

It's definitely a kid's movie, and the arch is predictable as children's television, but Ryan did a great job, and the cgi was well done and engaging.
