It was funny instead of being scary! But not funny as a comedy! I expected more.

Disappointed as plot didn't make sense on missing children, dysfunctional families, bullies, child abuse, and bunch of children take the lead of fighting disgruntled predator clown? Not scary but creepy stalker of kidnapped children.

No effective scares, and the characters are too archetypal to work on a serious thematic level. Doesn't take enough risks to be memorable.
