If "War of the Worlds" and "Edge of Tomorrow" had a baby, this movie would be it.

Lots of action. Decent story.

The movie seemed pretty ambitious. The tone shifts weren't meshing very well. The first half is sci-fi and comedy and in the middle it's full sci-fi drama, then in the third act it goes back to comedy action. It felt like a spectacle but not in the best way. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces in the cast. The actors did pretty well. But it felt like a lot was going on, and it felt very long. Side note- Chris Pratt looks like he's aging backwards and I'm flabbergasted.

Fair start but then over the top with the same tired formula.
