The soundtrack offered lots of tension for the film, but (guessing due to the real 2020 Covid19) the lackluster character interactions and relational development was lackluster. Great shots of the empty cityscape!

I found the choice of storyline an interesting comparison to real-life events in present day given the Covid pandemic runs on full-throttle. This film offers a bit of supposition as to life several years post Covid-19. One may only wonder.

I think the movie was more if a love story. I was expecting more of an ending.

The movie was good.. and the premise was good.. but something about it fell flat. I never really felt the love story and the end of the movie was just lame. It didn’t really make sense. Why did the nanny leave? Why are they giving the radio operator a yellow bracelet? It doesn’t make him immune. They hint at how bad things are but it’s just not believable. They don’t really show much of the Q camps or what happens there. They don’t explain why even though the girl was immune anyway that they still wanted to send her there. We’re supposed to believe there’s only one guy running around bringing in all the sick people and just stabbing other people willy nilly. Too many oddities and just ‘meh’. I don’t regret watching it, I just wish it had more substance.
