It is definitely a whole new adventure that manages to expand on the story without being too repetitive. However, it does lose its grips given that the movies title is hotel Transylvania, yet barely 1/3 of the film takes place in that. Nevertheless, it was still enjoyable.

The movie had a good message but did not keep the attention of my 8 year old daughter.
