I really enjoyed this film. It had a believable story line and other elements that made it feel real. The visual effects were well done. It did follow a somewhat predictable apocalypse plot with a (relatively) happy ending for the protagonists. The acting was convincing.

Acting was good

Start of movie had you wondering what happened to their lives and only got answered later in the movie. Overall I really enjoyed it and Gerald Butler is a great actor.

The movie started out with a lot of suspense and energy, but somewhat lagged in the middle. But the ending picked up somewhat. The special effects were really good with the meteors hitting earth.
