Not my kind of movie. If you like loud guns, special effects, etc then this movie is for you.

Entertaining, familiar but enjoyed the enhanced special effects. The storyline was a little overplayed but it was certainly worth the watch.

I was really looking forward to this movie, but found myself staring at the screen in disbelief. So many of the characters' actions related to the military portion were based on poor decisions. The movie was longer than it should be. Eliminate the storyline about him abandoning his family and dying on his daughter's 16th birthday. Cut the initial scene where we meet the grandfather. You can convey that relationship when he asks for help getting to Russia. And while science did get some good images, they missed an opportunity for a great line: I'm not a hero. I'm a biology teacher!

A good science fiction movie. A little too much \rfighting aliens.
