The movie addressed numerous logical flaws in the original cult classic. It's tricky to keep the story lively yet still grounded in the reality of the world. The movie is fun drive for the whole family.

Great movie for kids. My friend’s kid enjoyed it very much

It's really hard for me to rate a movie 5 stars, so I gave it the next best thing - 4 stars. It was a really good movie! There were obviously things missing and different from the original animation, but it did well making you not notice those things (unless you have a fresh memory of the original animation). It really was just a feel good, touching and funny movie. Easily enjoyable!

The visual effects were well done, and there were some funny moments, but the main character was a bit frustrating. I just can’t tolerate my little sister keeping a pet that completely destroys my house.
