I am sort of neutral. I liked parts of it. I did not like the person who played the mother, don't know why. I felt the story left too much out, although I know a movie can't get into too many details. The part of the uncle was so brief, without much meaning, except to say the boy and mother were like him, artists to the end. I was glad anti-Semitism played a role in the movie, people forget.

Sweet and funny, made for a nice date night out.

It was very weird. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

It was interesting, but Michelle Williams absolutely chewed the scenery. The young man playing Sam was an up and coming for sure. Very good young actor and the only noteworthy actor in the film IMO. Sadly this movie did not meet my expectations.
