It's ok movie

"Easter Sunday" was a good movie. Jo Koy was very funny. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments - especially "family" scenes. Good story with a purposeful nice ending. But I didn't like how the film makers portrayed the church scene or the religious aspects of Christianity. To their credit, they did have a little "gospel" message that did give the true and holy meaning of "Easter Sunday."

It's a fun ride especially if you're used to his style of comedy which he gets to showcase in this film and at the same time show a bit of acting chops. The whole cinema was laughing at 90% of the jokes and most of those who watched were not even Filipino.

It was funny but the plot was a bit weak.
