Great storyline! It was nice to see a story written based on a diverse group of people. The music was also a plus!

Colorful, great songs but ultimately familiar

Encanto was a beautiful story of love, family and community.

While I thought the film had too many characters and some of the family details were lost in a dizzyingly busy opening song, overall I enjoyed it. I remember noting just how REAL some of the fabrics looked in animation. I also wondered how the bilingual nature of it might help or hurt it. The screening audience was primarily hispanic and they seemed to really love it and connect to things I missed
