the film had heart!! though i didn't find ellen and julianne's relationship very realistic. it felt a little sympathetic to the cause of domestic partner woes. julianne got sick to soon for their romance to really solidify i thought. a little hollywood fluffyish some scenes. thank you for the free movie screening, gilbert lono

Movie was good. I think Ellen Page look too young for the part. She looked 16.

The subject matter of this movie is so important-I'm really glad it was made. We need a human element in this ongoing social debate. The movie itself felt a little amateurish. The acting was good, but not great. Still, I ended up in tears as I watched. Kudos to these women for tackling this subject with such beauty and integrity. They did honor to the memory of Ms. Hester. 3 1/2 stars.

I would love for everyone to see and hear this story. I am glad it was told. Sadly, the director didn't seem to know how to piece the story together; much of it seemed unbearably contrived and/or unnecessary (though it did improve as the story unfolded-- the beginning was terrible and the ending was decent). The director also failed by not getting the best performances out of a very strong cast.
