Good movie. Scary, but not too scary.

I thought this film was sufficiently creepy. It is uncomplicated and fun to watch. Not something to be taken too seriously. The actors were all fantastic!

Solid acting, well-produced, only 90 minutes though but that isn't uncommon for scary movies. Classic frustrating horror film where the character(s) make a decision that makes you wanna slap them upside the head. Didn't depend on tons of jump scares which was nice.

Plenty gore and jumpscares but the movie plot had a lot of holes. I haven't seen the original or read the book, so I wouldn't truly be able to compare just yet
