Kevin Costner was great in this movie. As for story wise it was similar to previous movies that have been donenin the past. So the script was not original however, the movie was entertaining from the start to the finish. Really enjoyed it.

The acting was well done. The film was too graphically violent for my taste. The plot was intriguing, a few slow spots but overall engaging.

It was better than I expected. I probably wouldn't have paid to see it in a theater, and would have watched it on HBO or Netflix later. I was surprised at the compelling story and not-mailed-in performances. It was sort of a hodge-podge of movie tropes, but it wove them together in such a way where it wasn't distracting or cheapening. I would recommend this movie to fans of the genre.
