Very heavy. A lot of unnecessary gore. Memory transfer movies are hard. Recommend for DVD.

good premise - too violent - sappy, predictable ending

This film had a different angle with the transfer of memory from one man to another, but I feel the violence was a bit overdone. Kevin Costner was good in his role, and I don't normally care for his performances. Gary Oldman was great, and Tommy Lee Jones always gives his best. The action was fast paced, and the English locales were nice. All in all, an entertaining movie with a kick.

Okay as far as action movies go. I felt like the "villain" was somewhat weak.
