Not very scary but I enjoyed it.

A decent horror film. Much better than the miniseries.

This movie has some decent creepy parts, but as an overall horror movie isn't really that scary. The movie has Stand By Me vibes which do work -- good performances by the young cast portraying the trials and tribulations of life growing up from an adolescent point of view. Despite having never read the book (??) but being a King fan, I suspect the book is more suspenseful. Movie still enjoyable.

A terrible adaptation of the novel, but a fun and glossy mainstream horror movie.
