Wonderful adaptation of the stage musical. Surprisingly affecting even for someone who knows the story and plot twists. Beautifully — and inventively! — shot, terrifically sung and danced. And plenty of Easter eggs/cameos for those watching closely. A+ all around.

Great production. Very well written

I’m a big fan of the musical. This gave me exactly what I needed from it. I loved how the scenes looked like musicals. Early on, we get a scene where Usnavi is singing and looking out a window at his shop. Dancers in the street are reflected in the window. It seems simple but the shot was gorgeous.
