It was an interesting perspective how abandonment affects the interaction with others as an adult and with their future children like his step son. Luckily the brother who experienced his father for a short while was able to share his lessons of compassion and empathy. I liked that it showed some of the challenges of being a Mexican American. In reality, friends have told me they separate the kids from their parents in their own separate holding area when they are picked up. It was a heartfelt eye-opener filled w/laughs, frustration, sadness, and triumph. I really enjoyed the film!

It’s a lighthearted film with a hug dose of common grace. As much as we are troubled by the various scenarios presented in the film, the truth is that they are part of our very human experience. My grandmother would say that there are at least 3 sides to every story. “Half Brothers” does a good job presenting this concept on the screen. So the next time you’re quick to judge someone’s behavior, jump to conclusions, or be dismissive of others because something didn’t turn out the way you thought it should - consider that fundamentally people are good and there is another side to the story!

Pretty good. Felt little disjointed related to Mexican experience coming to US. Both actors very good.

I was watching on my phone and received a call with only 15 minutes left if the movie. I didn’t pick up the call but the movie froze and should not let me watch the rest. This was an issue with the streaming, not my phone. Unfortunately missed the end....I did enjoy what I was able to see.
